The messages you type are sent through our server to an AI provider (Anthropic) solely to generate a reply. We do not store your messages or the replies in our database or logs. When you close or clear the app, the conversation is gone from your device too.
If you press the microphone button, your browser's own speech service turns your voice into text in the message box. On Android and in Chrome this service is provided by Google; on iPhone and in Safari by Apple. The audio goes to that service under its own privacy terms, not to us. We only receive the text, and only when you press Send. The app asks you before the first use.
Your messages are processed by Anthropic's API. Under the provider's own terms, API inputs and outputs may be retained for a limited period for safety and abuse prevention. We do not use your messages to build profiles or for advertising.
Use "Delete my data" inside the app to remove your settings and anonymous account. You may also email us to ask about, correct or delete your information, and you may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa).
